Job Introduction As an Electrical Engineer at Leonardo in Yeovil, you play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of statutory, legislative, and mandatory electrical maintenance and testing on our client site. What You’ll Do:
Diagnose electrical faults and repair assets within your technical capability.
Undertake routine maintenance to ensure systems meet relevant regulations and best practices.
Build professional relationships with clients and your own team.
Guide and support apprentice activities.
Make decisions within parameters set by your line manager using your job/specialist experience.
What You Bring:
Approximately 2 years of relevant experience.
Systematic approach to problem-solving.
Practical electrical engineering skills, including knowledge of compliance and best practices.
Experience working independently in a technical maintenance environment.
Familiarity with health and safety standards.
IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
Ability to self-manage and plan workload effectively.
Understanding of Helpdesk procedures and workflow requirements.
Excellent communication skills.
Electrical competence with NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualifications.
Inspection and Testing Level 3 C&G certification.
Experience working with safe systems of work and following procedures.
